The installation of TrueView is just MSI technology.
And the 2nd stage installer is triggered through the "self-healing" of the windows installer.
Without testing I thought your "saves" of the registry and the folders should work.
But to find out what else is missing, you should check which component(s) triggers the self-healing. Enable "full MSI logging" and post/upload the log file here, than I can take a look.
