Sadly Autodesk doesn't seem to have a feedback webpage for this free viewer so it will likely never change unless they slip it in by accident in a future version.

Also, the issue is also that DTV does not rememeber chages in the snap-settings. You have to redo them repeatedly if you want something else than the default snap priorities.

I have received DWG files from a supplier but don't have Autocad on my computer. How can I print them to pdf in Black and White but not in Greyscales? I have tried already the monochrome plotter etc. but still the unreadable greyscales keep appearing on the pdf plots

Ask your supplier to provide you with the needed plot styles you need to plot monochrome, or ask them to provide you with no-color CAD file or PDFs.

Rather slow display of drawings
I played around with Trueview2021 on the same PC where I have Autocad 2018 and with the same drawings. The display - zoom in, using the View Cube - seems rather slow to me, comparing to AutoCAD.
Someone here who can confirm this?

can you open the LAYER list and change all layer colors to 7 to get what you want?

Download and install/use the same year version of DTV as your AutoCAD, see if your issues go away, DTV2021 adds nothing over DTV 2020-2019-2018 https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/dwg-trueview/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Where-to-download-previous-versions-of-DWG-TrueView.html
Since you all use MAP3D then find and install the appropriate ObjectEnabler for plain AutoCAD too, that may address ProxyObjects issues in the plan-Jane viewer.

Found someone, somewhere today who posted a solution to setting Running Osnaps in TrueView: 1-Begin the measure command. 2-at "first point" prompt, type: 'dsettings (apostrophe, dsettings). 3-the familiar dialog box will appear, select desired Running Osnaps (other settings also available). 4-Osnaps now active, continue with selecting 2nd point. These Osnap settings appear to remain in force for subsequent commands. Hope this helps! (but i cannot take credit, other than finding this by another). Enjoy!

I have Windows 7 32 bit. Running Autocad 2016. Trying to convert 2020 or 2021 dwg files to my 2016 format. Which version of dwg trueview should I download to do that? Will 2017 -32 bit work? I am not running Win 10 so the latest dwg trueview will not be compatible.

How to silently uninstall DWG TrueView 2022?
Trying to silently uninstall software fails if using the information in the registry:
[Execute-Process] :: Executing [C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe /x "{D7A6621A-1A6A-3DAC-BBD2-9EB566035195}" REBOOT=ReallySuppress /QN]...
[Uninstallation] [Execute-Process] :: Execution failed with exit code [1605] because the product is not currently installed.

I found it {28B89EEF-5128-0409-0100-CF3F3A09B77D} It will remove DWG TrueView 2022 but it will still keep the "uninstall app" as it will still show in Add/Remove Programs list......

Hello - thanks for your post. I downloaded what was supposed to be DTV
2021 but it really was 2019 32 bit, so I ran it on some files but it
appears that it is working. My file creator can make 2013 which I can see
on my A2016 software it appears. I am not sure if I am missing proxy
graphics or not. I always tell it to show the proxy. I think this is going
to work but still confirming what the original file was done in. Is there
a way to what software version prepared the original?
