Your file creator needed to use DWGCONVERT command to know files down for you. But in AutoCAD 2016 turn on the variable PROXYGRAPHICS and PROXYSHOW then turn off PROXYNOTICE variable: that's all you need to do there.

I was able to fix this with DWG TrueView 2021 by running it as administrator for a first time setup. After that it appears to work on normal user accounts fine. Although my situation was not on any type of RDS, just a normal install on a laptop.
Has anyone had luck with editing the dwgviewr.msi file for DWG Trueview 2022? Trying to add some paths in the "Property" tables as I have for years. After edits are made the installation fails.
I am looking to develop an in house application that opens documents of many types in a native viewer - not trying to re-invent the wheel. I was wondering if anyone here had done anything like it with Trueview?
Hello All,
having some issues getting Trueview 2022 to install with SCCM. I have tried a lot of the new style parameters -
—- Silent
- q
- qn/qb
while it actually installs the product silently, in software center it just gets stuck on installing. If I look at task manager even though I get a return code of 0 in the log I can see installer.exe is still running. If I kill it then the install completes successfully. Something is keeping it open even though it’s set for a silent install.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi
I was wondering how I add a xref to a dwg I´ve opened in DWG Trueview.
I find the list of Xref, bu I don´t see where I add a new xref.

How can I configure autocad viewer 2022 so that it does not open autocad every time I open a drawing but that they are all together?
Thank you
I am trying to integrate Model Derivative API but I am facing problem after uploading DWG File.

I've edited dwgviewr.msi (created a transform) without any problems. Can you tell me what you want to change, that I can try on my site.

For the last several years I've used Orca to modify the Property Tables to add a few extra paths to the install, highlighted below. As example, I add a ";c:\acad\PlotStyles". I have had some experience with transform files, but limited. What software, if any do you use to create transform files and could you give me some tips on how you have created the transform file. Thank you.
Sorry for the delay.
You can use Orca to generate the transform file.
Here is an example how to edit a msi and save the modification as transform file.

Thanks so much, it works ... Appreciate your time & expertise.
I've seen this question come up multiple times on this forum, apparently over several years, but there never seems to be a good answer.
I'm trying to batch plot dozens of PDF's at a time, for several dozen different plots. All I want to do is batch plot to PDF in monochrome because plotting in the original colors makes the PDF's unreadable. Plotting to DWF will not work for me, it must be PDF.
I have tried using a page setup to force TrueView to print in monochrome to PDF, but when I go to batch print only the file I made the page setup for will print in monochrome and the rest print in color. If I import the page setup for all drawings, the batch plot fails to create a PDF file at all. Worse yet, if I close the drawing in which I made the page setup, then the page setup is not saved and is lost forever. I'd love to be able to simply save a page setup locally, rather than associating it with a drawing and having it disappear whenever I close that drawing, and it would also be nice if importing page setups would allow me to batch print multiple files using the same page setup.
Is there any way to actually batch plot drawings to PDF in monochrome?
